Notice how the buildings make a solid wall along the street. It is very odd to us that there are no alleyways or vacant building lots. Its usually a mystery as to what lies behind the doors, often there are large open courtyards inside the blocks.All the windows are covered with bars. During the parades little children sat in the window sills and they made a perfect viewing spot.
