Catalina at the Market

My very favorite photo of the day!

We met this sweet lady at the Central Market. She was selling live chickens and geese (see the chicken in the basket on the right). She asked us what village AnnaMaria was from and what her family name was. I think she thought she looked familar, but they are not from the same village. Catalina has a bad eye and put her sunglasses on just prior to the photo. The little girl in the background was a real cutie.

Catalina gave us her address. We will try to get a copy of the photo to her. Mail is a real challenge here though.

Claire often comments that she feels like an amazon woman here. I didn't really understand until I saw this picture!.
