Go Claire

I temporarily changed the background on our blog in honor of Claire. She just learned she made the 7th/8th grade soccer team and is diligently practicing. She played when she was little bitty, but it really caught on with her again last year. Most of her very best friends are on the team, so they have a lot of fun.

Put here’s why I’m really proud…Claire has recently had some great opportunities to practice her Spanish language skills. She has had several after school visits with a Spanish speaking 2nd grade girl. Now, there is a new girl in Claire’s school who only speaks Spanish and the principal has asked her to help with translation. I think her friends are pretty amazed by her skills.
