Halloween was a rough day for AnnaMaria. Both she and Lily had their annual physicals. AnnaMaria had to have four shots, and then we went to the hospital for blood work. They took 5 or 6 vials of blood from her tiny little arm. It really hurt! The blood is for routine testing since we don’t have any family medical information for her.
After all that, we found the bumble bee costume. For those of you who know our family, you know this was not a typical Halloween. We usually plan weeks or months ahead and all dress up together. We’ve been the Scooby Do characters, Star Wars, Peter Pan, Gilligan’s Island, etc. We were just too busy this year!
We went back to the old neighborhood and handed out candy. Ollie built a fire for wiener roasting and smores. It was fun and rather nostalgic. Halloween has always been so much fun there.
