Ready to take the bus to Tulum (ancient walled city).

Then to Xel-Ha another resort and animal preserve.

For two sisters who have never wanted to be cheerleaders,

they sure have fun playing cheer with AnnaMaria.

Jeff and the Big 3 spent most of the day at XPlor.

Aventura Cove - Day Five

This guy hangs out by the kiddie pool everyday.

He's about the length of a standard door (see background).

We took a day trip to Playa del Carmen. It is about a 20 minute drive.

Claire was the only one brave enough to have her photo made with this guy.

I think he was less creepy than the guy who asked her if she wanted a Mexican boyfriend!

Our resort has a sister resort that we can use at Playa del Carmen. It has a really nice sandy beach.

What's vacation without the obligatory Dora t-shirt?

AnnaMaria has eaten her weight in fries!

Playacar Palace

The ship in the background is the ferry that goes to Cancun from Playa del Carmen.

AnnaMaria couldn't hang on the cab ride back to Aventura. 

The guys were in another cab (too many of us for these small vehicles).

When we got back on the resort property we saw a monkey in a tree.

There were two adult monkeys and a baby, but they got away before I could snap a photo.

Up at 4:00 am Embassy Suites Nashville...ready to go!Our gate at the airport was next to a play area!We finally made it to our resort and the beach!Ollie likes to chill on the porch.We have an "AnnaMaria pool in both rooms.Unlimited room services and a cute robe is included.Mexican Buffet next to the pool.

That was a lot for one day!
