Week four is off to a good start. We’re counting the days until the rest of the family is here for a visit. Jeff, Ollie & Lily arrive around noon on Friday.
We found the English/Spanish church on Sunday and enjoyed the service. There were lots of praise songs we knew and a good sermon.
Claire continues to enjoy her Spanish lessons and her almost daily doses of afternoon ice cream!
We are all in somewhat of a routine. AnnaMaria and I usually take the stroller out in the mornings. I get a good hour or so of walking and she gets a nap. We go back out in the afternoons for a long lunch with Claire. We generally use the Mayan wrap in the afternoons as there are more people out and it is much easier for the three of us to get around. AnnaMaria usually takes an afternoon nap in the wrap. Are you seeing a pattern here? We’re not doing so well with the bed/nap thing!
AnnaMaria sat alone for probably five minutes yesterday. She has really come along way! I was talking with someone outside our apartment and mentioned AnnaMaria’s “Flat Daddy” (she is used to seeing him on the computer screen, when we video conference each evening). When she heard me, she started jabbering “dada dada dada”. Her second bottom tooth is peeking through the gum!
