On this particular Sunday afternoon, Jeff put them to bed and apparently didn't check the lock on the closet. Lily was only two months old at the time, so I'm sure we were enjoying the break. They were too quiet for too long, so we thought we should investigate. Here's what we found....
Claire was pretty much the spokesperson for the duo at that time. She explained that Ollie put lotion on her face. It was actually Desitin Ointment. I know this photo isn't the best as it was scanned, but he did a pretty good clown makeup job. It's a wonder it didn't get in her eyes. We just had to laugh! Clean up was very difficult; by design Desitin is supposed to be somewhat waterproof.
